Rob Joyce
NSA Cybersecurity Director (2021-2024), Former Special Assistant to the President & Acting Homeland Security Advisor
Rob Joyce is the former Director of the National Security Agency's (NSA) Cybersecurity Directorate, which is charged with preventing and eradicating threats to US National Security Systems and critical infrastructure with a focus on the Defense Industrial Base. Prior to this role, Rob was the Special US Liaison Officer, London. As the senior NSA cryptologic representative in the United Kingdom, he served as the key interlocutor between NSA and GCHQ. Rob has held a wealth of technical and leadership positions across NSA and the broader government, including serving as Special Assistant to the President and Cybersecurity Coordinator at the White House, Acting Homeland Security Advisor at the White House, and Chief of NSA's Tailored Access Operations. 
 
Richard Stiennon
Chief Research Analyst at IT Harvest
Richard Stiennon is Chief Research Analyst for IT-Harvest, the firm he founded in 2005 to cover the 4,070+ vendors that make up the IT security industry. He has presented on the topic of cybersecurity in 32 countries on six continents. He was a lecturer at Charles Sturt University in Australia. He is the author of Surviving Cyberwar (Government Institutes, 2010) and Washington Post Best Seller, There Will Be Cyberwar. His research appears on Substack. Stiennon was Chief Strategy Officer for Blancco Technology Group, the Chief Marketing Officer for Fortinet, Inc. and VP Threat Research at Webroot Software. Prior to that he was VP Research at Gartner. He has a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Michigan, and his MA in War in the Modern World from King’s College, London. His latest book Security Yearbook 2025 will be published by Wiley in May, 2025.
 
Dakota Cary
Sr. Security Advisory Consultant at SentinelOne
Dakota Cary is a China-focused consultant at SentinelOne and a nonresident fellow at the Atlantic Council’s Global China Hub. Dakota previously was a research analyst at Georgetown University’s Center for Security and Emerging Technology on the CyberAI Project. He focuses on China’s efforts to develop its hacking capabilities. His reports examine artificial intelligence and cybersecurity research at Chinese universities, the People’s Liberation Army’s efforts to automate software vulnerability discovery, China's vulnerability collection system, and policies to improve the country’s cybersecurity-talent pipeline. He has been featured and quoted on his expertise in a variety of outlets, including The Economist, MIT Technology Review, Associated Press, Financial Times, and Wired. Cary has also testified before the US-China Economic and Security Review Commission.

Previously Jeff held executive leadership positions at high-profile companies like Armis Security, FireEye/Mandiant, and IronPort/Cisco. CEO & Co-Founder at NetRise
Thomas is currently the co-founder and CEO of NetRise, a cybersecurity company focused on providing visibility and risk identification into the software supply chain with an emphasis on embedded systems and firmware. Prior to NetRise, Thomas served as the Global Vice President of Enterprise Solutions at Cylance where his responsibilities ranged from conducting incident response investigations, product marketing, public speaking, and analyst relations. Thomas was also responsible for ICS security at the Department of Energy for 3 years and served in the United States Marine Corps serving in both Iraq and Afghanistan. Chuck Grindle, Ph.D.
Executive Advisor, Public Sector at Proofpoint

Chuck Grindle, Ph.D., joined Proofpoint as Executive Advisor, Public Sector in 2023. Chuck is an Information Scientist and specializes in information security, policy, and strategy. He previously served in various State, Local Government and Higher Education roles with Amazon Web Services. Chuck is also the former Commonwealth of Kentucky Chief Information Officer, under Governor Matt Bevin. As a Colonel, Chuck taught strategy and Cyber Operations at the United States Army War College and served in various information technology roles over his 29.5 years of military service, including Chief Information Officer at the United States Military Academy and lead theater Information Technologist for Third Army, Camp Arifijan, Kuwait. Chuck graduated from Washington and Jefferson College and was commissioned into the Army as a Field Artillery Officer and then transitioned his career to Information Technology. He earned his master’s and Ph.D. from the University of Pittsburgh’s School of Information Science and holds a second master’s degree from the U.S. Army War College in Strategic Studies..

Jeanette M. Nuñez
Interim President at Florida International University

Mrs. Jeanette M. Nuñez is the Interim President of Florida International University. Prior to her appointment as Interim President, Mrs. Nuñez served as Florida’s Lieutenant Governor. She was first elected in 2018 and subsequently re-elected in 2022. Mrs. Nuñez oversaw the Florida Department of Health and served as Chair of Space Florida, Florida’s Cybersecurity Advisory Council, and the Health Care Innovation Council. She was reappointed as Chair of the Space Florida Board of Directors on February 17, 2025.
Before her tenure as Lieutenant Governor, Mrs. Nuñez served as a State Representative of the Florida House of Representatives from 2010 to 2018. Lawrence Embil
Miami-Dade County Security Manager - Security Architecture, Governance, Incident response

Lawrence is a cybersecurity strategist with 25 years of experience across private, public, and academic sectors, currently managing Miami-Dade County’s Security Architecture, Risk and Compliance, and Incident Response teams. He specializes in aligning Critical Infrastructure Security and implementing prescriptive security controls for projects such as nuclear plant control systems, elections security, and Smart City initiatives. Lawrence is also skilled in leading risk assessments and holds multiple cybersecurity certifications and co-founded an AI and cybersecurity advisory practice in 2017.
